My friend Paige came to stay at our house while we travel north for a few weeks. I am really glad that she came early! We got to play with food and make wonderful things to drink. One of the things we made, actually we made it a few times, Sangria!
Peach, strawberry and then more peach. What's not to like about this sweet, refreshing, adult beverage except the empty bowl/pitcher?
I have never written down my recipe for sangria before. Just winged it and poured in whatever sounded good at the moment. But, in memory of our week together, Paige and I decided to write it down so we could both duplicate the experience whenever we had the desire for a walk down memory lane.
So - Paige - this one's for you!
